Faculty Office Delivery - The service will be limited to faculty patrons and book item types.
Timeline - The Committee agreed to a Fall Break (Oct 10-11) implementation in order to allow sufficient time to discuss delivery arrangements with departments, to complete the system configuration, to test and finalize production procedures, and to implement training for staff. The committee discussed the possibility of allowing videos or other non-book item type materials to be included in the service. It was decided that, at least for the 3-month pilot phase, the service would be restricted to Faculty patrons and "book" item types.
Publicity - Carmen talked to Mary Beth Bunge and will follow up.
CallSlip Set-up - Jesse Estimated about 1 to 2 hours of set-up in the production Voyager System Administration module to get the service activated.
Documentation and Training - Janet, Carmen, and Jesse will write up staff procedures and present to the Access Services Forum.
Gateway Information - Joanne will make sure that the Library Gateway is updated to include the service.
Staffing - LMT has allocated $1500 for units to hire additional student hours to handle Faculty Office Delivery. The distribution of the funds to individual units is still to be determined.
Other related discussions - Will a pick-up service be included? Not at this time.
