Discussion on the use of call slip and other special services for library card holders

Circulation of Special Collections/Formats from the Annex

The Annex houses and circulates its collection under a standard policy and   requests to house or circulate materials outside of the standard policy need   procedures. The committee discussed whether guidelines were needed for deciding such requests, and concluded it would be difficult to create guidelines for situations that were likely to be highly individualistic. We agreed to consider each request on a case-by-case basis.

Discussion of Harris Records that display items that might be missing from the collection

We agreed that any record that is not linked to a physical item from this collection should be suppressed from the catalog.
