Instruction Public Forum April 24, 2007 1:00 PM Mann Library, 2nd Floor Agenda: We spend a significant amount of time creating subject guides to lead our users to the most useful and authoritative resources in an area. How can we do this in the most efficient way possible? How can we make sure we're neither overwhelming our users with an avalanche of information nor neglecting key resources they may need? How can we cater to the varied audiences that these guides may serve? Suzanne Cohen and Jim Morris-Knower will showcase the updated web subject guides that Catherwood and Mann Libraries recently unveiled on their redesigned sites and will discuss the process by which they were redesigned, the measures taken to ensure their efficiency and continued usefulness, and how the content and presentation were decided. Please join us for the first of a series of brown bag lunches featuring the many web resources created by the libraries at CUL. Minutes: | ||
