Net Library
Complaint from student about Net Library

- CDEXEC made the decision to buy net Library, issue should come to them
Find Databases Working Group (Report)
PSECs response to the report
- PSEC decided not to establish a gate keeping committee for Find Databases.
- Virginia, Kizer, and possibly Michael Cook will serve though the end of 2006 as a temporary group to make decisions about new additions to Find Databases.
- This group will submit an addendum to the FDGG report to PSEC by January, taking developments with WebFeat into account.
Further recommendations from Anne:
- PSEC will continue to monitor what happens with database creep and WebFeat
- We need user feedback about the titles included in Find Databases; can the WebFeat teams usability testing include this?
- Kizer will put the issue of selecting databases for Find Databases (or WebFeat) on the CDExec agenda.
- Eli will review the list of image databases now included in Find Databases with her colleagues.
Further discussion of the FDGG report:
- The collection should be useful to novice users
- How should we package / re-name to make clear that this is a selected set of databases (Find Core Databases?)
- Do users see these as our only databases?
E-Reserves
Need a follow up report
