Convenient Business Hours—Draft Library Hours and Services Questionnaire for PSEC review/approval

·        PSEC reviewed the questionnaire and approved its content

·        PSEC agreed with IRIS Management Team’s decision to also provide paper copies of the questionnaire, along with flyers and a sign

o       Units can supply a box for completed surveys and pencils to complete surveys

·        PSEC recommended that the entire patron file extract should be used, if at all possible, to disseminate the survey

·        Lydia Pettis will continue to work with the Convenient Business Hours Working Group and will provide a set of Voyager reports after the last day of the semester that cover the entire Fall semester

ACTION ITEMS:

ü     Instructions to all units that are participating in the survey will be distributed to unit contacts by email with an electronic copy of the survey and the sign

Other business:

·           Possibility for a brown bag lunch session on Google Answers

·           Katherine Reagan will be a temporary replacement for Suzy Palmer in PSEC

ACTION ITEMS:

ü   Invite Karen Calhoun to the next PSEC meeting

ü   Cancel PSEC meeting for Wednesday, November 27, 2002
