Announcements:

Someone to replace Paul McMillin on PCAC will be recommended to the group soon.

Oliver noted that the endowed libraries may be switching the software used for Vendacard printing.  The change should be transparent to users.

Suzanne asked if endowed and state units could realize cost savings if they bought items on one contract.  It was suggested that there is some precedent for this at CIT.

Draft Public Computing Policy:

We revised the draft policy, keeping in mind that it would be used as a general template, while allowing individual units to customize for their own needs. Michael will make the suggested changes and we can review one more time before sending to PSEC and ITEC.
 

Net-Print:

Oliver created a chart, outlining authority for Net-Print decisions in each unit.  This same list may be used for decision-making about other services.  Mann and Endowed are going forward with the change to 9 cents.  Suzanne will get answers from Hotel, JGSM, and ILR about the prices in those units.  Michael will contact Marty about Entomology.  Pat is following up with Engineering (non-DS-managed) and Vet.
